CLASSICAL BALLET ACADEMY (SINGAPORE)

Established since 2008, Classical Ballet Academy offers an innovative approach to the study of classical ballet, based on a model of optimal performance.  Our programme takes a  holistic approach in  the learning of classical ballet.  Alongside classical ballet technique, students learn about the art form as a whole, including repertoire, choreography and appreciation.

We pride ourselves in providing a high quality training process, which aims to give students the tools to teach the body to learn, as opposed to the sole emphasis of examination syllabus study. Dance certification examinations are offered through the Royal Academy of Dance (UK).  These examinations are not compulsory, and students may progress if they maintain an adequate standard of technique required for their level.

All students have the opportunity to perform in our annual recital.  In addition, students who audition for our Cygnets Performing Club, are given the opportunity to take part in public charity performances,  competitions and festivals.
